Beyond the Fair: A Frieze Week Open Studio Trail

This Frieze Week, we are taking you beyond the fair and into the studios where art is made.
Beyond the Fair is a new artist-led initiative founded by Nimi Collective and artist Alice Irwin, bringing together artists and studios across East London for a collective weekend of open studios, connection and discovery.
Join us for an afternoon visiting participating artists in their studios, meeting artists, seeing works in progress and finished pieces, and getting a closer look at the ideas and processes behind their practices.
Rather than moving through a traditional fair setting, this is an opportunity to experience the artists' work in their own environments and have more informal, personal conversations with the people making it.
The trail will bring together a diverse group of participating artists, with studios opening their doors between 2–5pm. You can explore the studios independently or join a guided Nimi stroll with a group of fellow art lovers, visiting a selection of participating spaces and meeting the artists along the way. We'll round off the afternoon with rooftop drinks at art'otel, giving everyone a chance to unwind, continue the conversation and connect with the wider group. Once you register, we'll share the full list of participating artists and studio locations ahead of the event so you can plan your route.
Whether you're a collector, an art enthusiast, a creative, or simply curious to discover something new during Frieze Week, you're welcome to join.
