About the artist
Elizaveta Bogachova is an undead body, queer identity, a Berlin-based conceptual artist, photographer and Ukrainian refugee of the first wave with mixed origins. Their work often occupies the liminal space of in-betweenness, shaped by exile, queerness and displacement, situating art in lived experience. Delving into questioning the intricate relationship between medium and materials, Elizaveta constantly seeks new angles in creation and presentation by blending digital and analogue methods. In their practice, Elizaveta explores themes that deal with perception, identity, placemaking, and the complexities of existence.
