DINNER TALKS: AI & REAL LIFE
Dinner Talks: AI & Real Life
An intimate dinner about how AI is changing the way we think, date, connect and make decisions in everyday life.
AI is already helping us write, plan, make decisions and even date.
But where is it genuinely making life better? What are we starting to outsource without thinking about it? And as more of life becomes digital, does being together in real life become more valuable?
For the first edition of Dinner Talks, we’re bringing a small group around one table for dinner and an open conversation with Erik González.
This isn’t a lecture or a technical AI workshop. Erik will introduce a few questions throughout the evening, but the idea is for the whole table to get involved, share experiences, disagree, ask questions and see where the conversation goes.
No technical background needed.
What we’ll talk about
How much of our thinking should we outsource?
If AI can write, plan and help us make decisions, where do we want to keep doing the thinking ourselves?
AI, dating & relationships
Can algorithms really help us find the right person, or are some parts of attraction impossible to optimize?
Why offline might become more valuable
When messages, content and digital interaction become effortless to generate, what happens to the value of actually showing up in person?
What AI is actually useful for
Away from the headlines and hype: what genuinely works in everyday life, what doesn’t, and what is probably not worth your time.
Meet Erik
Erik González works with AI strategy, automation and applied AI through Barcelona-based EREGON Labs, helping turn AI from something people talk about into systems and tools people can actually use.
For this dinner, we’re leaving the presentations and technical jargon out of it. Instead, Erik will bring his experience to the table and help us unpack the questions AI is starting to create in normal life.

How the night works
20:30 · Dinner begins
We sit down, eat and get to know the people around the table.
21:00 · Dinner Talk begins
Erik opens the conversation and we work our way through the evening’s questions together.
Then we keep eating, drinking and talking. The speaker is part of the table, not standing at the front of a room.
Come alone or with someone. Either way, you’ll be sharing the table with people you haven’t met yet.
