โ๐ Where it Began
โSaucer Cleanup Day (SCD) started as a small online tradition where RosserSaucer community members from around the world would share the initiative of heading outside to pick up litter in their local area.
โSix months later, we curated our first in-person gathering in Vancouver to clean up side-by-side!
โThe first cleanup party in July 2026 went so wonderfully, we've planned another in Vancouver this October 2026!
โThis event will be lead by our very first Regional Lead, Rain.

โโ๏ธ How the Day Will Unfold
โWeโll begin the morning at a cafรฉ by Queen Elizabeth Park (specific address shared after registration is accepted) where everyone can meet, order some fuel for the day, and settle in for a moment before we set off together.
โFrom there, our guide will distribute equipment for all to use to cleanup.
โNote: We will be providing gloves, litter pickers, and bin bags. Bringing your own equipment is optional, but please don't forget to bring your own waters, sunblock, close-toed shoes and anything you'd bring to a mini hike!

โ๐ฑ The Clean-Up
โWeโll spread out across the neighbourhood and spend some time collecting litter, leaving the city a little cleaner than we found it!
โWhen the clean-up is complete, the bags will be collected and weโll take a relaxed stroll back to our starting point to wind down and celebrate the first in-person Saucer Cleanup Day led by the Regional Lead, Rain!
