​🎤 Featured Speaker

​Eva Jarbekk is Partner and Head of Tech Law and Privacy Scandinavia at Schjødt and is widely recognized as one of the leading technology lawyers in the Norwegian market.

​She advises organizations on AI regulation, privacy, digital regulation, and technology law, helping companies navigate complex legal and strategic challenges related to emerging technologies and AI adoption. Her expertise includes AI governance, privacy strategy, litigation, DPIAs, labour law, public procurement, Binding Corporate Rules (BCR), and TMT/ICT contracts.

​Eva is also a highly sought-after lecturer and author of several books on technology law. She is currently writing a commentary on the AI Act and closely follows how evolving AI regulation impacts organizations in practice.

​In this session, Eva will share insights into the fine line between being defined as a “deployer” or a “provider” under the AI Act — and the important legal, operational, and compliance consequences this distinction can have for companies implementing AI solutions.
