Unseen and Uninvited: Who Answers When AI Agents Come to Your Front Door?

Join us for this joint AI CoLab and Australian Computer Society workshop. Expert panel: Bobbi Campbell (Law & Governance), Cheng Yu (Agentic AI) and Eric Nguyen (Operation & Cyber).

External AI agents are already reaching public-facing systems. The Medicare statistics portal incident gave us a glimpse of what that interaction looks like: an AI agent came in through the public interface, looked like any other visitor, and went unseen for months.

The story is still unfolding. Reviews are under way; directives are landing, and the facts keep shifting. That makes this the right moment to pin down what we actually know and connect the dots while the lessons are still forming.

Cyber security and technical teams are already on it. The bigger question is organisational. Something like this doesn't stay in IT. It reaches legal, operations, service delivery and the executive table. Being ready means those parts can adapt and move together, with the resources you have.

This is an unscripted Ask Me Anything, for technical and non-technical leaders alike.
Bring your questions and your toughest scenarios. You'll leave with a clearer sense of how ready your organisation really is, and who answers when an AI agent knocks.

AI CoLab events are intentionally open and collaborative. We capture photos, audio, and AI-generated transcripts so we can remix key insights for the AI CoLab Alliance community. This is always done in line with the Charter’s values; transparent, ethical innovation and knowledge sharing to accelerate collective learning (see join.aicolab.org). By participating in an AI CoLab event, you agree to your contributions being captured and shared in accordance with this policy.
