🕕 6:20 – 6:30 | Welcome
We'll kick off with a land acknowledgement and an introduction to what we do at Civic Tech WR.

📣 6:30 – 7:00 | Project Showcase
We’ll be showcasing recent collaborations with:

  • Project Ploughshares: Using AI to uncover and track Canadian military exports

  • Plan to End Chronic Homelessness (PECH): Educating the public about chronic homelessness with a new website that showcases a data-focused narrative about this issue

  • One Million Neighbours: Mapping neighbourhood equity in Waterloo Region using open data

Each group will have 10 minutes to explain the problem they're tackling, demo their solution, and take audience questions.

💡 7:00 – 7:30 | Q&A Breakouts
Dive a little deeper into the project of your choice in CTWR's typical breakout fashion. Participants can ask questions, observe, or join the discussion to add value. After the breakouts, we'll reconvene to share the next steps for each project.

🎉 7:30 onwards | Afterparty!
Stick around for snacks and good vibes as we celebrate our work and connections made.
