Come for a cozy, laid-back writers group.

I recently moved to a new neighborhood + as the seasons change & we prepare to spend more time inside, I've been thinking about the meaning of home. This writing group, we'll explore: How do we define home? What does it mean to make a home? How does our concept of home change over time and what people or places carry home for us?

WHAT TO EXPECT:
📚 Readings: We'll do a brief reading & discussion of 2 poems that focus on our theme.
✍️ Freewrite: Based on the readings, I'll guide us into a 10-min. free write activity to get the writing juices flowing.
🕦 Extended silent writing: We'll have 30-40 mins of silent writing time with prompts based on our theme. You're also welcome to bring your own writing project if you prefer.

✨ All writing experience & genres welcome - whether you're working on a novel, are a seasoned poet, or just want to do some personal journaling, this is the space for you!

As always, I'll bake a snack for us! Feel free to bring a friend!
