​Join the iCare Sustainably International Community and the Uasin Gishu idealists as we spend the day at a local rescue center in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, home to over 250 individuals. The center supports children, youth, and mothers—many of whom are survivors of gender-based violence—alongside the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to rebuild lives and restore hope.

​Our mission for the day is simple but powerful: connection, compassion, and community.

​We’ll kick things off by preparing and sharing breakfast together—because some of the most genuine moments happen over a shared meal. The day will also include fun, interactive activities to create joy, laughter, and a sense of belonging for everyone involved.

​Beyond that, we’ll hold meaningful conversations around real issues affecting the community—creating space to listen, learn, and exchange ideas that can lead to lasting solutions.

​This is more than just a visit. It’s about showing up, standing in solidarity, and proving that small, intentional actions can create real change.
