The Equity Mandate: Scaling "Solar for All" in the Post-Credit Era

Focus: Protecting low-to-moderate income (LMI) access as federal residential credits shift.

The Case: 2026 marks a pivotal "last call" for no-cost solar in the District. With the expiration of the direct Section 25D residential credit, the burden of affordability has shifted to state-level programs and Third-Party Ownership (TPO).

This panel examines how the DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) and local partners are bridging the gap to ensure the 80% AMI (Area Median Income) threshold remains a gateway rather than a barrier to electrification.
