About Event

Join Spunky Seniors for the opening of Haptic Knowing, a fascinating new exhibition at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art.

Haptic Knowing explores touch as a way of thinking and knowing—how we experience and understand the world through texture, materials, resistance, and the work of our hands.

Thursday, September 3, 2026
Opening Reception: 4:00–6:00 PM
Spunky Seniors Meet-Up: 4:30–5:30 PM

The exhibition features artists Andrea Bersaglieri, Lea Feinstein, Janet Neuwalder, Carol Shaw-Sutton, and Eliot Spaulding, each exploring tactile materials and the relationship between touch, making, and understanding.

Meet Ronnie at 4:30 PM at the entrance to the museum so we can explore the exhibition together!
