A live, no-code workshop that helps you turn an AI idea into a validated product strategy, clearly defined MVP and actionable launch roadmap.

Bring the Idea. Leave with the Plan.Β

This is not a webinar where you simply listen and take notes.

You will work through key product decisions during the session and receive a complete set of editable resources to continue developing your idea afterwards. By the end of the workshop, you will have greater clarity on what to build, why it should exist, how to evaluate it and what needs to happen before it can launch.

Meet Our Instructor

Prateek Khare - Head of Product, Amazon

Prateek Khare is a product and AI leader with 12+ years of experience across product management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. He currently serves as Head of Product, Tech – Home Services & Local Shopping at Amazon, leading large-scale product strategy and growth initiatives.

Previously, as Lead Product Manager for AI at Petram Data, Prateek helped shape an AI-powered customer data platform, secured $5.7M in funding, built a 20-member team, and drove 22% higher adoption and 2Γ— engagement.

At Ford, he built enterprise AI and ML products, including initiatives that reduced time to market by 80% and improved customer targeting by 60%.

The Workshop Journey

1. Validate the Idea

Before deciding how to build an AI product, you need to determine whether it should be built at all.

You will explore how to:

  • Define the customer problem and desired business outcome

  • Distinguish between adding an AI feature and building a product around AI

  • Identify where AI can create meaningful, measurable value

  • Evaluate customer impact, strategic fit, feasibility and data readiness

  • Surface assumptions that must be tested before significant investment

  • Prioritise the strongest opportunity

Your outcome: A clearer, evidence-based view of whether your AI opportunity is worth pursuing.

2. Plan the Product

Once the opportunity is clear, the next step is translating it into a focused product plan.

You will explore how to:

  • Define the target customer and core value proposition

  • Map the user journey and identify where human intervention is necessary

  • Scope an MVP around the product’s most important hypothesis

  • Decide what belongs in the first versionβ€”and what should wait

  • Approach build-versus-buy decisions

  • Define how product value, AI quality and reliability will be evaluated

  • Consider trade-offs involving accuracy, hallucinations, latency, cost, privacy and scale

You will not be expected to write code or create a detailed technical architecture. The focus is on making informed product decisions and communicating them clearly to technical teams and stakeholders.

Your outcome: A focused product direction, clearly defined MVP and framework for evaluating success.

3. Prepare to Launch

A convincing prototype is not automatically ready for customers. The final stage focuses on what must happen before an AI product can be launched and scaled responsibly.

You will explore how to:

  • Establish success criteria for a pilot or initial release

  • Define quality and launch-readiness thresholds

  • Identify appropriate guardrails and human oversight

  • Examine cost, pricing and basic unit economics

  • Plan how real-world performance and user feedback will be monitored

  • Decide when to iterate, scale, pause or stop

  • Establish priorities for the first 30, 60 and 90 days

Your outcome: An actionable roadmap for moving your AI product from early concept towards launch.

More Than a Workshop: Everything Included with Your Ticket

Your registration includes:

  • A 2.5-hour live, expert-led workshop

  • Guided exercises applied to your own AI idea or business problem

  • The complete editable AI Product Launch Pack Workbook

  • Real-world product examples and case discussions

  • Live Q&A with Prateek Khare

  • A six-month Packt Premium subscription

  • A shareable certificate of completion for all attendees

  • Permanent access to three carefully selected Packt eBooks

Together, these resources allow you to continue learning and applying the workshop frameworks long after the live session ends.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for professionals responsible for deciding where and how AI should be used, including:

  • Product managers and product leaders

  • Founders and entrepreneurs

  • Innovation and strategy leaders

  • Business leaders sponsoring AI initiatives

  • UX and product designers

  • Consultants and transformation professionals

  • Technical leaders working closely with product and business teams

You do not need to be a software engineer or data scientist. Basic familiarity with generative AI may be helpful, but the workshop focuses on product judgment, commercial viability and execution, not coding.

What to Bring

To get the most from the workshop, bring one of the following:

  • An AI product idea

  • An AI feature you are considering

  • A customer or business problem that AI might help solve

  • An existing AI prototype that has not yet reached production

If you do not have an idea of your own, you can apply the workshop frameworks to the case study provided during the session.

This Workshop Is for You If…

  • Your organisation has several AI ideas but no reliable way to prioritise them

  • You are unsure whether an AI concept solves a valuable customer problem

  • You need to define a realistic MVP before committing substantial resources

  • You have an AI prototype but do not know whether it is ready for customers

  • You need to evaluate quality, cost, privacy, trust and risk before launch

  • You want a repeatable framework for making better AI product decisions

You need a clearer way to communicate your product plan to stakeholders or technical teams

Free content can explain the principles behind AI product development. This workshop helps you apply those principles to a real opportunity with expert guidance, structured exercises and practical tools you can continue using afterwards.

Your Editable AI Product Launch Pack

Every attendee will receive an AI Product Launch Pack, created with Prateek to support the complete product-planning journey.

You will use selected resources during the live workshop and retain the full pack to continue developing your product afterwards.

The pack includes:

  • AI Opportunity Prioritisation Scorecard

Compare potential opportunities across customer value, AI suitability, feasibility, data readiness and strategic fit.

  • Customer Problem and Value Proposition Canvas

Define the customer, the problem being solved and the value your AI product must create.

  • AI Product Planning Canvas

Bring the core product decisions, assumptions, capabilities and success criteria together in one place.

  • User Journey and Human-Intervention Map

Map how users interact with the product and identify where human review, control or escalation is required.

  • One-Page MVP Scoping Template

Define the essential first version, its core hypothesis and what should remain outside the initial scope.

  • Build-versus-Buy Decision Matrix

Evaluate whether key capabilities should be built internally, purchased or delivered through external platforms and services.

  • AI Quality and Evaluation Scorecard

Establish the product, model and user-experience criteria that will determine whether the solution is performing successfully.

  • Cost and Unit Economics Worksheet

Examine the costs associated with delivering the product and assess whether its economics can remain viable as usage grows.

  • Risk, Privacy and Guardrails Checklist

Identify risks involving reliability, hallucinations, bias, privacy, security, user trust and human oversight.

  • 30/60/90-Day Launch Roadmap

Translate your decisions into a phased plan covering validation, development, testing, launch preparation and iteration.

These editable tools can also be reused for future AI products, features, pilots and internal initiatives.
