⚡️PatchWork: Building the Future of Dogpatch, One Connection at a Time
Overview
This activation invites neighbors to explore Dogpatch at their own pace and discover the layered networks of art, commerce, history and care that make the neighborhood whole. The neighborhood is reimagined as a living web of relationships among business owners, artists, green spaces, and community stewards.
What to Expect
Your Map & Passport — Pick up your activation guide and stamp passport at one of the locations below (recommended between 2pm and 5pm), then set your own pace through the neighborhood
Dogpatch Hub- 1278 Minnesota Street
TBD
The Stops — Visit local businesses, artists, green spaces, and community stewards across Dogpatch, collecting a stamp at each one that represents a different facet of neighborhood life
Neighborly Connection — Each stop invites a genuine exchange with neighbors who make up our community. Meet a local artist whose studio you've been curious about and learn what brought them to Dogpatch, read about what your grocer's favorite sports team is so you can ask how the season is going the next time you stop in for a head of lettuce.
The Block Party — End your journey on Maryland Street, where neighbors show their stamp cards to receive the patches they earned and pick up special Dogpatch totebag (patches and totebag free with registration). Join us at Standard Deviant to share what you've discovered and add your voices to a collective vision for the future of Dogpatch. Play Dogpatch Trivia and enjoy the block party!
Note: Patches are limited and will be distributed to the first 45 participants who display their stamp card to organizers.

About the Future of Us Festival
Launching on America's 250th anniversary, the inaugural Future of Us festival is a 10-day celebration of civic imagination and possibility. We're turning community-sourced, expert-crafted visions of the future into art, storytelling, and participatory experiences. With 100+ events spanning every corner of the city (floral labyrinths, speculative future worlds, dance parties with a purpose, and neighborhood meet-ups), it's a living exploration of what a more creative and generative civic culture could feel like. Organized around four themes (Green Futures, Social Futures, Science & Tech Futures, and Media Futures), Future of Us is breaking down the barriers between art, ideas, and each other, and everyone is invited to co-imagine what comes next.
