Come spend your Friday afternoon at Oasis office celebrating the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival with mooncakes, good company, and a little hands-on making.
This is a community gathering for people across the NYC tech community, founders, builders, operators, investors, and anyone curious to meet interesting people while doing something fun with.
So, what’s a mooncake?
Mooncakes are traditional Chinese pastries enjoyed during the Mid-Autumn Festival, often filled with sweet filling and sometimes a salted egg yolk symbolizing the moon. They’re typically shared with family and friends as a way to celebrate togetherness and the full moon.
We’re bringing in a baker to teach us how to make mooncakes. No baking experience needed, just show up, get your hands a little messy, and make something you can take home.
