The Edge4Vets program bridges the gap between military service and civilian careers. This joint in-person workshop, hosted by Edge4Vets & UMASS Boston's William Joiner Institute, brings together local Military Service Personnel and hiring decision-makers from top local tough tech companies for a day of mentorship, skill translation, and networking.
We are proud to partner with the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) and its 350 technology member companies, alongside esteemed organizations like Boston Children's Hospital, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and REMTEC, who are all eager to hire veterans.

Edge4Vets offers a Three-Step Pathway to Career Success:
The Workshop (Oct 28): Work in small groups with HR reps and hiring managers from our partner companies. They will help you identify your military strengths, values, and skills, and translate them into a personal PLAN4SUCCESS for the civilian workplace.
Online Course Access: After the session, you will gain access to the Edge4Vets online course. Short videos and exercises will guide you in refining and finalizing your PLAN4SUCCESS to earn your Edge4Vets Certificate.
Direct Networking & Interviews: You will leave the workshop with a contact list of the attending HR reps and hiring managers. You can reach out directly to match your skills with opportunities at their companies and line up interviews.

Join us as a Workshop Mentor to help veterans get comfortable speaking about their strengths. Your principal role is to listen, encourage, and provide feedback as veterans build their civilian career plans.
