Adebayo's journey from a sociology classroom in Ile-Ife, southwest Nigeria, to the talent acquisition teams of global tech companies hasn't been a linear one. Over the last five years, his career has tracked the rapid trajectory of Africa's most ambitious startups from Reliance Health and Moniepoint, to Stitch and LemFi.

​Now a talent acquisition associate at Verto in the United Kingdom, Adebayo has gained critical insight into the systemic differences that shape how African talent operates and relocates on the global stage. Having recruited for global tech companies across Europe and Africa, he brings a wealth of firsthand experience and he'll walk us through how to build a career you truly thrive in, plus what recruiters are really looking for when hiring and partnering with talent.
