

Claude Code Workshop
This is a paid 1-day immersive workshop that is STRICTLY for developers and technical professionals who want to use Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool, to build, review, and ship software.
Participants will learn how to use Claude Code to build, review, and ship software faster. In this hands-on workshop, you'll create AI-assisted development workflows, extend Claude Code, and leave with a working project you can take back to your team.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Explain what agentic coding is, how Claude Code differs from autocomplete tools and chat assistants, and where it fits in an engineering workflow.
Set up Claude Code on at least one surface (terminal, an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), or the desktop app) and run a task on a real project.
Engineer clear requirements for a build, and consume a design handover for a user-facing application.
Run the build cycle (explore, plan, build, review) with a CLAUDE.md and permission controls.
Extend Claude Code with a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and run it in an automated check.
Ship a working project to a public repository and present it to the room.

A laptop (macOS, Windows, or Linux) the participant can install software on.
A Claude account on a paid Pro plan, with access to Claude Code.
Have a working knowledge of at least one programming language, and comfortable with the command line and Git.
An existing project or codebase to work in is helpful but not required; a sample is provided.
Because the day is intensive, accounts and tools must be working before Saturday. A short setup guide is sent in advance.
