Why You Don’t Trust AI (And What You Can Do About It) w/ Daniel Dobrygowski
Why You Don’t Trust AI (And What You Can Do About It)
Every day brings a new headline about artificial intelligence reshaping our world. Yet for most people, the prevailing feeling isn't excitement - it’s skepticism, confusion, or concern.
Between sophisticated new scams, generative AI showing up in in unexpected places, and algorithms quietly harvesting personal data, not trusting AI is a completely rational response.
Join East Rutherford native, author, cyber attorney, and former Paterson teacher Daniel Dobrygowski for a candid community discussion why public sentiment has soured on artificial intelligence, what standards citizens must demand from corporations, and how communities can advocate to hold tech companies accountable.
What We’ll Discuss
The Root of the Trust Problem: Why AI often feels intrusive or unreliable, and why healthy skepticism is your strongest asset as a consumer and citizen.
Demanding Better Technology: What real "digital trust" looks like and how communities can advocate for accountability, safety, and transparency from any business, even the big tech platforms.
