From Proof to Policy: Building the Conditions for Scale
At Climate Week and COP, we often hear that we need more policy, more collaboration, and more investment. But what does that actually mean in practice?
As regenerative agriculture moves beyond pilots, the challenge is increasingly less about proving what works and more about creating the conditions that allow adoption to scale. Drawing on emerging research with One Planet Business for Biodiversity (OP2B) exploring the future of European agricultural policy, this session will examine what governments, companies, and financial institutions must do differently to accelerate transition. Participants will explore practical examples of policy design, co-investment models, financing structures, demand signals, and public-private coordination that can help mobilize investment, improve farmer economics, and create the enabling conditions for scalable adoption.
The goal is an informative discussion about what good policy actually looks like that creates actionable insights participants can move forward in their own work.
