About Event

This private roundtable, hosted during Climate Week NYC, will mark the soft launch of the Caribbean Food Systems Growth (CaribGROW) Fund. The session will explore how strategic capital can transform agrifood systems across the Caribbean — building resilience from soil to sea, reducing import dependence, and creating investable pathways for food security and climate adaptation.

Participants will engage in discussion on:

  • Commitments and opportunities for investment in resilient, inclusive, sustainable and economically durable food systems

  • Pathways for partnership and capital mobilization to accelerate regional transformation

  • CaribGROW Fund’s design and vision for scaling resilient Caribbean enterprises

Attendance is limited to a small group of invited guests, with the conversation designed to spark meaningful exchange and actionable pathways.

Refreshments will be provided, followed by a networking reception.

Who is this conversation designed for: Investors · Global CPG and Food Companies · Regional Food Systems Practitioners and AgTech Innovators · Regional Financial Leaders.

What is this Fund about: The Caribbean Food Systems Growth (CaribGROW) Fund is a $100 million private equity vehicle designed to transform and scale sustainable food systems across the region. Building on 17 Asset Management’s 20 months of collaboration with the UN FAO under the Caribbean Food Systems Investment Initiative, the Fund will target primary markets including Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, the Bahamas, Dominican Republic and secondary markets including St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Dominica, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, Belize, Suriname and Haiti. By investing in growth-stage businesses across agriculture, fisheries, and enabling infrastructure, the Fund seeks to strengthen food security, reduce the Caribbean’s $6 billion food import bill, enhance climate resilience, and generate competitive returns for investors, while catalyzing broader regional economic integration and capital market development.
