Intro to Grassroots Campaigning for Climate Action
In the climate fight, people power is our biggest asset! However, it is not always easy to know how to use your voice to bring lasting political change. To bridge this gap between passion and action, 350 Bay Area is organizing a policy teach-in for SF Climate Week. This workshop will equip you with the tools to engage with and advocate for environmental change.
Join us for an exciting presentation and workshop to:
Learn about the Make Polluters Pay campaign
Get involved in grassroots climate organizing
Make friends in the climate space!
Enjoy some delicious (vegan) snacks & refreshments
The Make Polluters Pay campaign is an initiative to hold the largest fossil fuel companies financially accountable for the damage they cause to California's environment. 350 Bay Area is one of many groups advocating for this crucial climate policy.
This workshop is organized by 350 Bay Area’s mobilizing team. We are a group of youth and young adults who take tangible and collective climate action, raise awareness, and advocate for climate solutions.
While our team is youth-led, we invite folks of all ages to join us for an afternoon of collective learning and movement-building!
This event is free and open to the public. By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week.
