Campfire — Build Your Community
Campfire is back.
This is not a networking event.
The number one thing we can do in difficult times is remember that we have each other. That remembering often matters more than any single action any one of us takes. Under real stress, connection is the way through. I spent time in Sarajevo in 2025 working with entrepreneurs there, and that city has a rich history of hardship producing deep innovation. What made it possible was how tightly people stayed connected to each other. The same holds here.
Most ventures don't stall for lack of a good idea. They stall for lack of the right introduction - the customer who would have said yes, the operator who already solved this exact problem, the partner who opens a market you can't reach alone.
That's social capital. And in situations and markets where financial capital is limited - which is most situations, most of the time - social capital is the currency that actually moves a venture forward. Building it across Austin and across borders is what Tech Ranch has been doing for years.
Campfire is where you build it on purpose.
How the evening works. We open together. Then we hear from entrepreneurs in the room - what they're building and what they're up against. Then the floor is yours: everyone present gets the chance to build the specific network their venture needs. Not to meet people in general. To find the two or three people who change what's possible next.
Who should come: founders building something real, at any stage. Longtime members of the Tech Ranch community, and people who've never walked through the door.

Where: Tech Ranch at the Austin Chamber of Commerce, inside the Hilton downtown on Fifth Street. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
