AMULET MAKING WORKSHOP @ TEDXSingapore Open House
WIP WORKSHOPS CURATED BY SENISINI FOR: TEDxSingapore OPEN HOUSE
AMULET MAKING WORKSHOP BY XIN
14.30 -15.30
What does peace look like for you?
Inspired by The Amulet Series, this workshop invites participants to create a personal amulet that reflects what brings them comfort, peace, or protection. Participants are encouraged to reconnect with childlike curiosity in a safe, playful, and non-judgmental space. This is a secular workshop that reimagines the amulet as a personal object of meaning rather than a religious symbol. There are no right answers - only an invitation to experiment.
Come play, and leave with a small reminder of what grounds you.

About the artist: I am Xin (@exprmntlspce), a creative working mainly with Procreate and tattooing. Drawing on memory, culture, and everyday observation, I let meaning emerge through experimentation. I created a dragon amulet risograph print that revisits the amulet's emotional role beyond its religious context. In the workshop, participants can create their own paper amulet using yellow amulet paper, red crayon, and black marker.
