Ipoh Writers Gathering

​Join us at Abe Archive Books for the Ipoh Writers Gathering, an introductory workshop for writers who want to explore different ways of performing their original work. Whether you write poetry, short prose, or something in between, this session will offer a welcoming space to think about voice, presence, and how a piece can come alive when shared aloud.

​Come ready to listen, experiment, and get a feel for the possibilities of performance in writing. While you’re there, you’re also welcome to buy a beverage or dessert from the bookstore and enjoy the setting as you connect with other writers over a shared interest in the craft.

Note: Bring 1-2 pieces either memorised or in a notebook or phone, ready to be shared. Eat a light meal, rather than a heavy lunch. And bring (warm) water! Wear comfortable clothes for light physical activity.
