About the Speakers
Stephanie Leung, Chief Investment Officer, StashAway
Stephanie has more than two decades of experience in managing multi-asset portfolios globally for Goldman Sachs as well as for institutional investors and family offices. Her expertise in global macro and quantitative investing has enabled her to effectively manage multi-billion portfolios for her clients. Prior to finance, she began her career at McKinsey advising companies in the Asia Pacific region. Stephanie earned her MS in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Stanford University and BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Tai Hui, Managing Director, Chief Market Strategist, J.P. Morgan Asset Management
Tai Hui, Managing Director, is the Chief Market Strategist, Asia, based in Hong Kong. With over 15 years of experience, Tai formulates and disseminates J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s view on the market, economy and investing to financial advisors and investors in the Asia region. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Tai served as the Regional Head of Research (Asia) with Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, covering the economic and financial development of the Asia region, and delivering his analysis to corporate and institutional clients. Tai obtained a BA in Economics from Cambridge University and a Master of International and Public Affairs from the University of Hong Kong.
Nick Morales, Vice President, Investment Strategy, BlackRock
Nick Morales is a member of the APAC GPS Investment & Portfolio Solutions team, based in Hong Kong. Focusing on investment strategy, Nick aims to connect market insights to BlackRock's full range of products and solutions. The team engages with clients to drive commercial outcomes using those insights by partnering across the BlackRock investment platform. Prior to joining the APAC GPS IPS team, Nick was with BlackRock US in a similar capacity. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he graduated from Amherst College with a degree in economics and philosophy.
Shannon Chow, Managing Director, Hamilton Lane
Shannon is a Managing Director in the Client Solutions Group at Hamilton Lane, responsible for client relations in the Asia ex-Japan and Korea region. She works closely with clients and the investment team on portfolio construction and development. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, Shannon served as a Vice President at BMO Global Asset Management, focusing on the distribution of investment products, including private equity funds. She also held the position of Vice President at Northern Trust, managing relationships with institutional clients, and worked at HSBC and Invesco Asset Management as a Relationship Manager. She earned a B.A. from the University of Hong Kong and is a Certified Financial Planner, with membership in the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong.
