Bridges Over Basel 3

​Bridges Over Basel (BOB) is a lecture series organised and hosted by the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI).

This initiative brings together PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and industry professionals from Basel's vibrant biotech sector. Through panel discussions featuring speakers from diverse industry positions, BOB creates opportunities for meaningful exchange between academia and industry.

Following the success of our first two editions, we're pleased to announce the third event in the series, in collaboration with Novartis who are kindly welcoming us in the pavillon.

​Our first edition provided valuable insights into preclinical research roles at Novartis, while our second edition offered a chance to explore the breadth of opportunities in pharmaceutical companies, from research and development to medical affairs and diagnostics in Roche.

For this event, we are partnering again with Novartis colleagues exploring roles outside of research and development and yet playing a pivotal role in the pursuit drug making.
