And what do the most important stakeholders - Singapore's youth - have to say about all this?

Themes
We will focus our workshop around four major themes.
Ecological Connectivity:
Fragmentation of habitats can make it difficult for wildlife in Singapore to move between the remaining habitats. While progress has been made on that front, with Park Connectors etc., perhaps more can be done to make Connectors wildlife-friendly.
How do we make connectors between the remaining habitats that we have, to be safer for wildlife as well as more convenient for humans?
Conservation & Community:
Throughout the world, conservation is often a matter of building communities and gaining greater agency. This will be no different in Singapore - and yet the space for communities to grow ground-up in Singapore, whether metaphorically or physically and literally, can often be limited.
As Singapore moves to embrace more government-citizen partnerships, how do we make space to build stronger communities that can work and advocate for conserving our biodiversity?
Protecting our Forests:
Singapore's forests are our precious natural inheritance - but they are constantly under pressure and threat of destruction. While the needs of preservation and development should be balanced, who gets a say on where that balance should be?
Even as we claim to be a city in nature, can we do more to protect the bits of nature that are left in our city?
Living Sustainably:
Singapore's recycling rates, despite years of promotion and some innovations, remains dismal. A lot can still be done to make Singapore's economy more eco-friendly and circular, reducing waste.
How do we go about this? How might we make the right thing to do, also an easier thing to do?
