This primarily virtual community gathers 190+ members to be part of our educational and professional investing group.🌟 Our mission is to get more women onto cap tables via angel investments.
The Council Angels has existed for 5+ years and is a very active, lively community.

👋 About Us
The Council Angels is a consortium of 190+ operator-angels working at companies like Block, Slack, Flexport, Procore, Airbnb, Lyft, OpenAI, and Komodo Health.
Priya Shah (Product Leader, ex-Apple) is a product-focused operator with 5 years of experience building software. Currently, she is an early stage founder exploring ideas at South Park Commons. Previously, she led Product at an LLM-based customer service startup. Before that, at Apple, she led the development and launch of communication features like FaceTime and SharePlay to millions globally. She is a two-time WWDC session presenter and a Keynote speaker at This Next Thing ‘24.
Rachel Tsui (Venture Partner @ The Council & Head of Customer Success @ Komodo Health) has been angel investing for 2 years with The Council Angels and worked closely with Amber for the past year as Venture Partner with The Council. Prior to The Council, Rachel has built and led Customer Success at Komodo Health from Series B to Series F. She started her career as a scientist, and moved into the the start up ecosystem after building experience in life sciences and health tech consulting.
Sarah Waterkamp (Angel Investor & Real Estate Investor) is a healthcare professional and entrepreneur with four years of angel investor experience, specializing in supporting under-represented founders in the MedTech, ClimateTech, HealthTech, and FemTech sectors. With a keen eye for innovative solutions, she actively advises multiple companies across various industries on go-to-market strategies, pitch deck reviews, and investor feedback. Sarah is passionate about investing in ventures that not only demonstrate strong potential for success but also contribute positively to society.
