“The Joker” Walked Into The Film Analytic Salon…
On Saturday, October 3rd, from 12:30pm - 4pm, please join The Film Analytic Salon as we explore the “unconscious” of Todd Phillips’ “The Joker.”
We hope to use the event to understand an interdisciplinary, and eclectic approach to analyzing film, and how we can utilize the “lens” within a clinical space. The focus of the event will be the discussion, and certain thoughts and feelings that the shared filmic object may induce in each of us. We will bring a psychoanalytic perspective, and invite you to bring other schools of thought, and philosophies to cultivate a fruitful discussion about the film.
