This Skills Boost is designed for educators and facilitators who want to run their own Community or Family Build Night at their school, library, rec center, or organization. You'll walk away with a ready-to-use session structure, facilitation strategies, and the confidence to lead a room full of mixed-age participants through meaningful AI exploration and hands-on building.

​In this session, you'll:

• ​Get a full walkthrough of a proven ~2-hour Community Build Day/Night format, from welcome to showcase

• ​Learn how to introduce key AI literacy concepts (AI isn't magic, it's math — and it has both real potential and real limitations) in an accessible, non-technical way

• ​Practice the Build & Showcase arc: how to form design teams, guide the ideation-to-prototype process, and create space for community members to present what they made

• ​Discuss how to adapt the format for your specific context — whether your audience is families, youth, educators, or the general public
