clay club: BIPOC afrocentric hand building with angelique
this hand building clay workshop invites participants to explore sculptural techniques in a space intentionally held for BIPOC individuals. together, we will shape, coil, and form clay into personal objects while learning foundational ceramic methods.
this gathering is rooted in care, designed as a space where shared lineage can foster ease, safety, and connection. through working with our hands, we engage in a practice of remembrance and cultural continuity, honoring traditions where knowledge and memory are preserved through making.
participants are encouraged to bring their full selves into the creative process, allowing intuition, story, and material to guide what takes form.
