A hands-on AI Builder Day at the Microsoft Garage; designed for anyone who wants to ship real AI-powered applications in a collaborative co-working environment.

The focus is practical building: moving from idea to working prototype in one day using:

Claude in VS Code – AI coding assistant for anyone
Lovable – AI-native app builder
Tavily – Live web search API for LLMs

🕘 Morning: Kickoff & Build

We kick off the Builder Day at 9:00 AM, opening the doors with coffee and bagels. Grab breakfast, meet other builders in the room, and settle in.

We will then start with short demos showcasing practical AI workflows and tools you can immediately apply to your own projects.

After the demos, the space becomes yours:

Build your own project
Co-work alongside other AI developers
Get feedback from peers
Connect and network with founders and engineers

Need to jump on a work call? No problem; this is a flexible, productive builder environment.

🚀 Afternoon: Show & Tell + Prizes

Around 4:00 PM, we’ll host optional short presentations from builders who wants to share what they’ve worked on.

We’ll award prizes for:

Best Use Case
Most Impactful Build

Selected projects may receive the opportunity to present at the upcoming Ethical Tech Summit on Friday, March 13th.
