Founder Fundamentals: Best Practices for Managing Your Board
Your board can be one of your most valuable assets, or a source of unnecessary friction. The difference often comes down to how you structure communication, set expectations, and leverage their expertise. We've got an incredible group of speakers - including Matt Van Horn (multi-time founder with exits to Weber and Lyft) and Patrick Thompson (Founder and CEO of Clarify inc, previously co-founder at Iteratively (acq. by Amplitude).
This conversation is designed for founders and early-stage CEOs who are navigating board relationships—whether you're working with your first board members or planning in advance for when your board expands beyond your cofounders.
We'll keep the format interactive and grounded in real scenarios. Expect straight talk, useful frameworks, and time to connect with other founders facing similar challenges.
Who should attend: Founders and CEOs of early-stage startups.
What to expect: A focused discussion, actionable takeaways, and an opportunity to network with peers who understand the unique dynamics of building a company at this stage. Lunch provided.
Space is limited so we will limit this event to founders currently working full time on their startups. We hope you can join us.
