The U.S. National Science Foundation I-Corps Mid-Atlantic Hub invites you to a Quantum+X webinar on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from noon to 1 p.m. to learn more about the program.
I-Corps for Quantum+X is a specialized I-Corps program that builds on NSF’s decades-long investments and extensive breakthroughs in basic and use-inspired quantum information science and engineering (QISE) research and development (R&D) to solve complex problems in and across various commercial sectors or scientific areas “X” (e.g., biotechnology, energy, finance) to accelerate QISE adoption and commercialization.
This special I-Corps cohort is part of a larger Quantum+X initiative that aims to tap into the expertise in academia, government, and industry to understand key technical bottlenecks to the adoption of quantum technologies and advance the most promising solutions from across the U.S. research and innovation ecosystem. This program will kick off in September 2026. Participants will travel to the Quantum World Congress to be held at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD on September 23-25, 2026, to conduct customer discovery interviews with industry experts.
During the webinar, there will be a brief presentation followed by time for questions.
