About Event

You want the button to say "Check availability." A colleague is sure "Book now" will convert better. You're both guessing, because there's no data to settle it. That's how a lot of product decisions get made, on instinct, but letting the data decide is far more reliable.

In this hands-on Bolt.new Premium Customer Workshop, we'll let the data settle it. We'll build a brand new project from start to finish, then make two versions of the most important components, show each version to half of the visitors, and track how each one performs. Same page, two versions, real data to back it up.

What we're building

A booking page for a property, built end to end. Photos, the description, a calendar showing which dates are free, your nightly price, a booking request that lands with the owner, a confirmation email for the guest, and a database behind it all so the same dates can't be booked twice.

Then we'll do the part most people skip. We'll pick the one component worth testing, decide what metric we want to gauge success by, and A/B test two variants so the data decides the winner.

Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, you'll understand how to:

  • Scope a project around a clear plan and a solid foundation, so you can take it end to end quickly

  • Connect every piece of a working app: the page, the form, the database, the availability logic and the confirmation email

  • Test two versions of the same section side by side, with visitors split evenly between them

  • Record what visitors really do, such as opening the page, starting a booking and finishing one, and see it on a results screen

  • Pick the one thing worth testing first, and why running too many tests at once buries the signal

  • Read your own data, know when you have enough to call it, then give the winning version to everyone

Skills

End-to-end project builds, databases, forms, availability calendars, confirmation emails, testing two versions of a page against each other (often called A/B testing), tracking what visitors do, simple results dashboards, prompt design.

Difficulty: Advanced

These workshops are designed to be stand-alone, so there is no need to attend prior sessions to get value from this one.

All workshops will be recorded and posted here: Watch on YouTube

Please RSVP as spaces are limited. Looking forward to seeing you there!
