As part of our 2026 UX in Play event series, Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) Edmonton & Interactive Arts Alberta (IAA) are hosting a drop-in Game Night featuring locally-made games designed and developed by Edmonton’s Indie Design Community.
Meet creators from up-and-coming local studios, learn about their game philosophy, and sit down to play!
This is a family-friendly event with light snacks provided.
🔍 We’re looking for playtesters...
Learn about User Experience (UX) research firsthand by participating in the testing process, and help support better game UX for indie studios!
When you register for Game Night, check the box to sign up and join our list of potential playtesters. ✅
We'll follow up and match you with testing opportunities.
During this event (May 15), we will be running a first playtest with Cozy Comet Games in the office next door!
If you're a good fit with the game's target audience, we'll invite you to claim one of our limited time slots for a test session.
To thank playtesters for participating, we'll also hook you up with a treat from our downstairs neighbours at White Rabbit Ice Cream🍨💕
