Lisa ‘MonaLisa’ Berman, an incredibly talented breaker, choreographer, and mentor of Minnesota’s dance community, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February 2026. Despite her remarkable journey as a breast cancer survivor since 2009, she is determined to overcome this challenge once again. As a beloved figure in the dance world, let her know that she is not alone in this fight.

We will be welcoming donations, but Lisa truly wants to be surrounded by friends and family to celebrate life. All donations and proceeds will be dedicated to post-surgery recovery, rehabilitation, groceries, bills, and basic needs. We are grateful to Chef Diane and her team for their generous donation of hospitality, space, and food.
