EB-5 Investors Summit 2026

Join us for a free virtual summit designed for prospective EB-5 investors who want to understand the process, evaluate their options and prepare for the September 30, 2026 grandfathering deadline.

Across five practical sessions, experienced EB-5 professionals will discuss the grandfathering protections, source-of-funds documentation, financing strategies, project due diligence, and other alternatives such as EB-1A.

Each session will include a 40-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of live audience Q&A.

Event Schedule

10:00–11:00 AM PT — The September 30 Grandfathering Deadline

Understand the protections available to qualifying petitions filed on or before September 30, 2026, what the deadline means for prospective investors and the steps required to prepare for filing.

11:00 AM–12:00 PM PT — Source of Funds

Learn how to document salary, savings, business income, property sales, gifts, loans and other common sources of EB-5 investment funds. The session will also address common documentation issues that can delay or complicate an EB-5 filing.

12:00–1:00 PM PT — Financing Your EB-5 Investment

Explore financing options, including HELOCs, loans against property, securities-backed loans, family loans and project payment plans. Learn how different financing structures may affect the source-of-funds documentation required for an EB-5 petition.

1:00–2:00 PM PT — EB-5 Project Due Diligence

Learn how to evaluate a project’s capital stack, collateral, guarantees, job creation, job cushion, construction risk, repayment strategy, exit plan and sponsor track record.

2:00–3:00 PM PT — EB-5 vs. EB-1A and Other Immigration Options

Compare EB-5 with EB-1A and other potential immigration pathways, including O-1A, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, and employer-sponsored options. Understand the eligibility requirements, costs, timelines, risks, and tradeoffs of each pathway.
