The speakers for this event are Tina Hrabak, head of platform and partner, LongJump and Brian Crump, principal, Chicago Early Growth Ventures.
Tina Hrabak is head of platform and partner at LongJump, the most active pre-seed VC investing in Chicago companies since 2021. In this role, she builds LongJump's presence within the startup community, supports portfolio growth, and helps with fund operations. Before LongJump, Hrabak was senior director of startups at Future Founders, where she oversaw adult programming helping the next generation of entrepreneurs launch their businesses. Hrabak is passionate about building equity in the startup ecosystem and is an active member of the GET Cities Tech Equity Working Group and All Raise.
Brian Crump is a principal at Chicago Early Growth Ventures. Chicago Early has made investments in 110+ startup companies across all industries, deploying more than $6 million in early-stage funding. By day, Crump is a partner at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP in the firm’s venture capital and emerging companies practice group. He has been practicing in the venture and startup space for more than 12 years. Prior to that, he found his love of venture and entrepreneurship when he joined the original team that opened 1871 in 2012.
