​Guest Speaker: Syeda Ahmed, Co-founder & CEO of TL IT Solutions

​Syeda Ahmed is the co-founder and CEO of TL IT Solutions. The company specializes in secure and scalable web development, branding, UI/UX design, AI tools, and automation solutions that help organizations strengthen their digital presence and improve user engagement. Syeda began her entrepreneurial journey with her sister Darakhshan Ahmed during the COVID-19 pandemic after pitching the idea for Tutors Loop, an online peer tutoring marketplace, at a DePaul University pitch competition where she won second place. As the sisters continued working with entrepreneurs and local businesses, they noticed that a large number of small businesses still lacked a professional online presence. Studies show that more than 40% of small businesses in the U.S. are still not fully online or digitally optimized. Since then, they have expanded the business into TL IT Solutions to help non-technical businesses build a strong and professional online presence.Under Syeda’s leadership, the company has earned WOSB, WBENC, and BEP certifications and was nominated for the Chicago Innovation Awards in both 2024 and 2025. Syeda is passionate about making technology more accessible for non-technical business owners and helping entrepreneurs grow through practical digital solutions.
