The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is dedicated to offering valuable programs while addressing the needs of our community as circumstances evolve.

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event begins will receive a full refund.

Cancellation requests made within 48 hours of the event, including on the day of the event, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur, and we will do our best to accommodate genuine emergencies or extenuating situations at the Center's discretion.

To request a refund, contact the relevant event’s point of contact with your registration details. Refunds are usually processed within 5-7 business days.

If you're unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to a colleague at no extra cost by notifying us at least 24 hours in advance of the event.

We cannot issue refunds for no-shows unless prior notice is given. The Center may waive this policy for genuine emergencies or extenuating situations at the Center's discretion.

The Polsky Center Investor-in-Residence Duane Jackson, founder and managing partner of Author Capital Partners, will lead a workshop focused on building a strong investment thesis.

Topics include the foundations of an investment thesis, sources to build and refine a thesis, and actionable outputs.

This workshop will also discuss how a team may approach developing a proposal and thesis as it relates to the Booth Investment Thesis Challenge (BITC).

In-person attendance and active participation are encouraged.
