Relationships In The Age Of Technology: Room 3 Gathering

​Room 3 is a salon-style gathering to encourage critical conversations about how technology impacts our everyday lives. From social media to AI, we utilize specific topics to guide a semi-structured discussion to encourage reflection and curiosity with ourselves and others. This events topic is: Relationships in the Age of Technology. We will be talking about the effects of technology on our ability to create and maintain connections, exploring the benefits and obstacles.

​Each salon is facilitated by me, Elliot, a trained mental health therapist and coach who has been in practice for 6 years and is now transitioning into the field of AI Safety. I am skilled in holding space for complex, nuanced, and vulnerable conversations which I am now translating into hosting these events.

​Prior to the event, you will be sent prompts to encourage reflection before our meeting and afterwards you will have takeaway topics and actionable practices to apply in your daily life.

​I started Room 3 to encourage connection and because I found many people eager to talk more openly about the impacts of rising presence of technology in our lives.

​All opinions and backgrounds welcome but we also begin by agreeing to respect differences and engage thoughtfully. Diversity of thought and experience lead to more fruitful ideas, so long as integrity is maintained.

​A group of 6 participants and myself will meet at a café in Neukölln.
