An evening for dressing up, drinking something sparkling and disappearing into another world for a few hours.
This November, Minerva Society invites you to The Society Edit, an intimate evening of performance, fashion and beautiful company, held within the private rooms of a historic Marylebone townhouse.

English sparkling wine, refreshments and non-alcoholic alternatives
A selection of sweet, savoury & vegetarian canapés throughout the night
A thoughtfully curated gathering of culturally curious women from across London
An intimate gathering in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse in Marylebone
Arrive to a glass of English sparkling wine and canapés as the evening begins. Settle in, meet the women around you and enjoy the beginning of the evening before the doors close and we invite you to take your seat for a private salon performance of Oscar Wilde’s A Woman of No Importance.
First performed in 1893, Wilde’s society comedy turns its gaze on marriage, desire, reputation and the wonderfully contradictory expectations placed upon women and men. For one evening, we return it to the intimacy of the drawing room, where its wit, gossip and social observation feel particularly at home.
After the performance, the salon opens once more. Stay for another drink, leaf through a collection of vintage Vogue spanning the decades and spend the rest of the evening in conversation with a thoughtfully curated gathering of women from across London.
Come alone or with a friend. As always, the room is designed to make meeting someone new feel entirely natural.
DRESS CODE: FORMAL · DRESS TO BE SEEN
The Society Edit is an occasion for dressing beautifully. Formal dresses, elegant tailoring, evening wear and statement pieces are all welcome. A gown is never required, simply come polished, considered and ready for an occasion.
Fashion is part of the evening, so have a little fun with it!
Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re no longer able to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest, subject to Minerva’s approval. Please contact us in advance with the name of the person you’d like to attend in your place.
