Connecting Families Primary Years: Social Development and Summer Play Ideas
Connecting Families Primary Years: Social Development and Summer Play Ideas
Parents and carers of primary school‑aged children – join us for an online session focused on play and social development for children with VI.
We’re inviting you to a relaxed and supportive online session for parents and carers who want to explore how children with VI can develop social skills and enjoy inclusive play. We’ll also share ideas for inclusive games, events, and activities to try during the summer holidays.
What we’ll cover:
The role of play in social and emotional development
Supporting peer interaction and inclusive games for primary school‑aged children
Building friendships and confidence in social settings
Summer holiday‑themed ideas, events, and activities to try at home or locally
What to expect:
A welcoming space to learn, ask questions and share tips and ideas for the summer holidays with each other
A chance to connect with other parents and carers
This session will take place online, and we’ll send you the Zoom details once you’ve registered for the event.
