I’m so happy to announce that I’m starting a poetry night.
People may or may not know this, but I love writing silly, rhymed poems — and I know a lot of us write too, whether it’s poetry, journaling, or just thoughts that need somewhere to go.
So consider this your invitation to join us. This is an open mic for poetry and spoken word — you don’t have to be a poet or a writer to be part of it. Sharing is one thing, but listening is just as important. Words are meant to be spoken, but they’re also meant to be received.
It’s going to be intimate, a little cabaret-ish — a space to connect, share and have a good time. You can even expect a few surprises. 😉
Music throughout the night will be curated by my dear friend and jazz lover @sean.fender
