Nature Detectives Creekside Bushwalk (Ages 6-12)
Join us for a family-friendly bushwalk through the beautiful bushland at Reynolds Park, Toongabbie as part of Climate Action Week. This 1-hour walk follows a small creek and is home to plenty of local wildlife and ongoing Bushcare sites. It's an easy, engaging adventure designed for kids aged 6–12 and their families.
A local Bushcare guide will lead the walk and share stories about the native trees, plants, and animals you’ll see along the way, helping kids (and adults) learn what makes this pocket of bush so special and how trees help to make us all cooler in a changing climate.
Please dress appropriately for the weather - hat, closed shoes and insect repellent recommended.
After the walk, families are welcome to stay, enjoy the recently renovated Reynolds Park, and try out our handheld laser thermometers. This event is supported by Parents for Climate and Friends of Toongabbie Creek.
