This class is beginner friendly and will focus on functional movement that can help us transition to/from the floor, spatial awareness to find paths from low positions, and exploring how to listen and respond with other movers in real time.
Artist Bio:
As a movement artist, Eunice explores the lineages of black social dance, anchoring their practice in capoeira, house and hip hop. Alongside their current research in somatic movement, their work focuses on deceleration, allowing for creative choices that feel congruent from the inside out.
No previous movement experience necessary. All levels welcome.
