About Event

Join us for ResearchILD’ s Open House & Book Event!

Executive function strategies for goal setting, organization, flexible thinking, and self-regulation are the foundation of independent learning.  Coupled with emotional regulation, students become more confident, persistent, and resilient learners.

You are invited to a special event to learn more about executive function and the important role emotional regulation plays in classroom learning.   As the leader and expert in executive function resources and training for over 40 years, ResearchILD has recently moved and expanded to new offices in Burlington, MA.

At this open house, you will discover practical insights, connect with our community, and explore ways to support student learning and well-being.   School administrators, teachers, academic support professionals, psychologists, and parents who recognize executive function's essential role in all students' academic success are welcome to attend.

Here are the highlights of our meet-and-greet open house:

  • Join renowned experts, Dr. Lynn Meltzer, Dr. Robert Brooks, and Dr. Ellen Braaten as they discuss insights from Dr. Meltzer’s newest book, Executive Function and Emotional Regulation in the Classroom: Practical Strategies for Engaging Students and Promoting Independent Learning. Dr. Meltzer will be joined by contributing authors, Drs. Brooks and Braaten to discuss practical strategies that you can implement immediately in your classroom, practice, or home.
