Stellar 14 build days

​Over the next 14 days, we’re getting together to write real code, break things, and deploy actual contracts to Stellar.

​Whether you've never touched Rust before or you're already building backend systems, the goal here is simple: build solid, transferable skills you can actually use anywhere. We'll use AI tools to demystify the Rust compiler, work together through open-source Git workflows, and build functional Soroban smart contracts from scratch.

​What We’re Actually Doing

• ​Rust Without the Headache: Conquering the borrow checker, structs, enums, and error handling using modern AI coding assistants to decode compiler errors fast.

• ​Real Git Habits: Forking repos, branching properly, and collaborating via real Pull Requests.

• ​Smart Contracts on Stellar: Compiling WebAssembly, running the Stellar CLI, and interacting with the Stellar Asset Contract (SAC).

• ​Live In-Person Build Days: Two Saturday meetups in Accra packed with live PR-merging games, bug hunts, and deployment races.

​How It Works

• ​Weekdays (Online): Quick, focused evening sessions to introduce concepts, set up tooling, and review code.

• ​Saturdays (In-Person): Hands-on build days right here in Accra. Bring your laptop, collaborate in real time, and deploy your contracts live.

​What to Bring

​A laptop with VS Code (or your preferred editor) and a curious mindset. We’ll help you configure Rust, the Stellar CLI, and your Git setup from day one.
