Connecting Families Secondary Years: Moving from DLA to PIP

Parents and carers of secondary school aged children – Join us for a session on Moving from DLA to PIP

This online session is designed for parents and carers of secondary school aged children with VI. We’ll be focusing on the transition from Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to Personal Independence Payment (PIP), which typically happens at age 16.

We’ll be joined by RSBC's Information and Advice Specialist, who will share guidance and answer your questions.

This friendly and practical session will cover:

  • Understanding the DLA to PIP transition

  • Advocacy tips to help you support your young person

  • Where to get further advice and support

What to expect:

  • A welcoming space to learn and ask questions

  • A chance to connect with other parents and carers

This session will take place online, and we’ll send you the Zoom details once you’ve registered for the event.

If you have any questions, please contact Harriet, RSBC Family Activity Coordinator, at [email protected]
